How do oil pipelines transport oil?

In order to improve the service life of the oil well pipe and reduce the cost, the oil field requires that the oil well pipe can be reused for many times, which puts forward the requirement of excellent anti gluing performance for the oil pipe. If the tubing is stuck, the integrity of the thread connection will be damaged. Continued use may lead to leakage and reduction of the connection strength of the thread connection, and in serious cases, it may fall off the well and cause huge economic losses to the oilfield.

 

API specification requires that the tubing can be screwed on and off for 6 times without gluing. Although the well conditions of each oilfield are different, and the makeup conditions (makeup technique, makeup torque and speed control, etc.) of the tubing are also different when the tubing is lowered into the well, and the requirements for the number of times the tubing is put on and off are different, each oilfield basically requires that the number of times the tubing is put on and off can be more than 10, and some oilfields even require that the number of times the tubing is put on and off can be more than 30.
